Learn From Home Week 6

LFM 6

Good morning! I hope you all had a lovely long weekend. I took those days to unplug and refresh and reengage my mind. This week is a lot of introduction to new concepts and ideas, and we will build on these concepts over the next several weeks.

Just a reminder that I will be working on site at JKE tomorrow morning, and will not be available for support until the afternoon.

Week 6, let’s go!

LFM jour 23 – jeudi le 14 mai

Bonjour mes amis!

Il n’aura pas une réunion de class aujourd’hui, au lieu regardez le vidéo du matin pour l’explication de la journée (lien se trouve dans la chaîne).

A reminder that the presentations for the time capsule (capsule-témoin) begin today and will continue next week. Most of you have signed up for next week, so you still have time to ask me questions if needed. Looking forward to seeing them!

Please note my change in office hours for today – 9:00 – 9:45am and 1:00 – 2:00pm.

Learn From Home Week 5

Greetings! I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weekend!

A couple announcements regarding this week:

  • first- you may have already heard, all elementary and middle schools in Langley will be open as of tomorrow, supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 Essential Service Workers and their families (previously, only Tier 1 at select schools). Teachers are working shifts at JKE starting tomorrow to care for the students. My shift this week is Wednesday morning. Please note that I will not be available to support our class during that time. I will hold my normal office hours in the afternoon.

  • second- Friday is a Pro D Day. I am not providing any learning activities for that day. Students are encouraged to catch up on any outstanding work/activities, and pursue things they are interested/passionate about. Also note that next Monday is Victoria Day, please enjoy a lovely 4 day weekend. Learn From Home will continue on Tuesday.

Thank you for a continued support. Here’s to a good week!
