Well friends, that wraps up the 2019-2020 School Year! It will absolutely be one that we remember forever.
Thank you for all of your support and participation this last year. Without a wonderful group of parents and families, many things just don’t happen. If you haven’t seen it yet, below is a wordle that staff put together of all the amazing qualities our JKE parents have.
Elleni and I want to thank everyone for the lovely gifts, cards, and gestures we have received in the last couple weeks. They are so very appreciated. We know that times can be hard, and feel so honoured that time and/or money was spent towards us. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts ❤
Lastly, to the students reading this: you have accomplished AMAZING feats this year, especially these past 3 months. Whatever September holds, remember- YOU CAN DO ANYTHING. If you need anything ever, please reach out, we will always be here for you! If you’re ever walking by the chalet, pop in and say hi!!
Have an amazing summer everyone!
Division 1- roll out!
We can’t wait to see and celebrate you tomorrow! Just a few reminders:
- students may arrive with 1 adult +2 guests
- 3 stations to visit (yearbook, certificate and Photo Booth)
- aim to stay 5-10 minutes, this isn’t a gathering but a way to celebrate and say goodbye
- please come around to the back of the school (outside gym area)
It’s the last day of Learn From Home!!
This journey sure has been something. Mme Asimakis and I are so proud of how well Division 1 handled the challenges, the obstacles, the pits and the peaks of remote learning. It wasn’t easy, but you did it!
Later today I will post the list and times of each group for tomorrow’s Farewell as a reminder. We can’t wait to see and celebrate you!
This is it!!! The last week!
Reminder that tomorrow I will be at school all day and will not be available for much contact. If you are coming to school (you know who you are) remember to bring an adult to check in, and all the things to keep you busy throughout the day.
Bonjour mes amis!
Aujourd’hui c’est notre dernière jour ensemble 😦 See today’s assignment details below.
I want to send out a big thank you to each and every one of you for an amazing year. One of my favorite memories was seeing you all step into a leadership role (very naturally if I may add) when teaching the rest of the school about Carnaval. I hope you learned at least *one* important lesson or take away from this year. I most definitely will be walking away from this year having learned many important lessons.
Alright…let’s end today off with a GREAT day! Are you ready?!?
We have an interesting day ahead of us. I hope you ALL can make it to our final class meeting together, we will be creating a class bingo together! Please also come to our meeting ready to discuss your favorite lesson/activity/memory that happened on “Thursday”. I also hope some of you will join in again at 1:00pm to bake, all together, a carrot cake! Last week’s baking show was a ton of fun!
See you soon and have a GREAT day!
