Bit of a gloomy day today, but that didn’t stop us from jumping into a lot of content today!

I think I may have given students the wrong number on their course selection form (pretty sure I do this every year)… I will be sending each child a message on Teams with their number (they should recognize it, it’s the one that is used to generate their log in and password for Office 365).

I gave students that I think are interested in writing the Challenge Exam for accelerated math next year last year’s Gr 8 Gauss contest. It is one of the recommended practice activities that WGSS suggests for anyone interested. I think it’s a good way for students to identify any unknown areas or needing review. I can also provide the answer key if anyone is interested. There are also practice copies available from as far back as 1998.
